[ IT'S FUN... people are just lil silly guys. their enthusiasm is on the same wavelength. he likes dahut too, clearly, freaky anime eyes and all. ]
Yes! It is the greatest source of fresh water in Hyrule. [ JUST A BIG OL... CLEVERLY NAMED...... SPRING ] It is the aquatic heart of the entire kingdom! And there are the mountains, and the wetlands, and the sea—but I hope you'll interrupt my ramblings to tell me a bit about your home as well?
[THEY SURE........ARE. Thanks for liking him even though he has animeitis though, sir.]
Oh! That must be an amazing size, then! [A big ol cleverly named spring that fills... a country?? He's assuming a country.]
That sounds like such a diverse landscape, too. I don't think I've ever seen wetlands or proper mountains, but I feel like I'd never get bored being able to look at so many interesting places! [At the question though, he just laughs, waving a hand sheepishly.]
Arpéchéle is nothing much to talk about, to be honest. It's a very small island surrounded by incredibly rough seas, and while we have a few scattered forests and seaside cliffs, it's mostly just meadows and beaches.
[ does not think about scaling in legend of zelda ]
Ah—the ocean can be dangerous that way. [ there's really nothing more isolated than an island. even zora don't often live in the sea itself, though lanaryu is truly so wide and diverse he doesn't lack of things to see anyway.
still, nothing wrong with a little patch of home, as long as it's fulfilling. ] So it is just you and your colleagues there, for the most part?
[Their rough ass seas and [redacted] truly have made them the most isolated island in the wholeass world.]
It is! No one makes it in and no one can leave, either. In all the history for as far back as most people can remember, there's only been one visitor from the outside world, and he ended up there in a total stroke of luck!
Oh, not really! After all, ours is still a nation with several thousand people! It's pretty self-contained, but since no one really knows or expects any different, it's not so bad.
[There aren't a lot of people who crave the thrill of adventure...]
[Just nodding! Yeah! Isolated but not alone. There are 3k freaks trapped out in the sea somewhere, being French vaguely.]
Ah... Well... I'd be lying if I said I'd never considered it even once! But my hands were really full with the things going on there, so I didn't have that much time to consider it, you see.

[Bad luck. It was bad luck.]

[ not everyone needs to wonder what all is out there, he supposes. ]
But you rather seem the curious sort, Dahut. Did you ever want to reach beyond your island home?
