Because most people who play god are just normal humans. Monsieur Scien is less of a god than he likes to think, but still more than just an average person. "Playing god" is usually just another term for power grabbing, but Monsieur Scien will never be tempted or swayed by any sort of power. He'd be much easier to understand if he were!

Especially after meeting him here, I feel more sure than ever! Though I don't really know if it's a matter to feel lucky about, considering this level of faith comes with a lot of struggle. Like having to put up with his bad personality for decades.
