she wanders in, and there's two things he can feel from her right off the bat! the first is a bright and fascinated curiosity, maybe a little childlike. she's always been more comfortable in the dark, and the soft glow of the blue stones makes her smile as she walks into the room. the second thing is, unfortunately, a soft, bone-deep sorrow, persistent. it's not at the forefront of her emotions, and sometimes it fades into the background entirely, but it's a little bit like a chronic pain; it's always there, and she's become accustomed to ignoring it as much as she's able, just to function properly.
thankfully, it's not intrusive, and she seems to be in a decent mood despite the (anna voice) kingdom hearts darkness.]

[she's felt this response to her a couple times now, which she thinks is funny? they feel her black void depression and try not to add to it. only - this time, when sidon does it, she thinks maybe it isn't so much a guilt response or an attempt to take up less space, but something genuine. a warm campfire.
she comes up to meet him. her boots are. wet. and that feels horrible, but she deals with it.
she smiles as she meets his gaze, and then looks out around at their surroundings.]
It's beautiful. [genuinely.] The lights... I like them.
Show me around? I'd love to see it the way you do.
[ despite her depression, or maybe in spite of it, throne is wonderful company. it doesn't seem as though the darkness that dogs her makes the smile she wears any less genuine; if anything, it lends a certain meaning to it. like how shadows add dimension.

[ lol. anyway, the stairs are fine. they're also needlessly pretty. everything here feels almost like a statement piece, like jewelry, and he'll walk her towards the main level—between all the silvery blue filigree there are more normal things, like stores, small ponds and fountains where there zora chat and leisure, a large smithery. actual signs of people living here and not just fancy architecture, though it's still quieter than a bustling city. on that note— ] I was surprised—the energy in your hometown was entirely different.
[she enjoys the way he's so proud of his home - it's sweet. and bodes well, too, since he's a prince. it makes her think a little about hikari. of course he isn't so excitable like sidon is, but he's equally as hopeful, and she thinks that makes for someone wonderful.
